The oldest agricultural fair in the country is actually right here in Massachusetts, The Topsfield Fair! Celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, they will have contests, games, petting zoos and live performances, with Martina McBride headlining! There’s something for every age. The fair runs from September 28th to October 8th, and it’s truly something you won’t want to miss!

Looking for a little scary, Halloween fun? We know just the place for that as well! Fright by Night at Six Flags begins on September 15th and runs until October 28th.  By day it’s your regular theme park, but when the sun goes down, it’s Halloween every night! With haunted mazes, houses and “scare zones” throughout the park, you never know what might pop out at you.

While there are no witches roaming the streets anymore (or at least not as many), Salem is still a real-life Halloween town.
